Job Title: Store In -charge Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Hospital: Hospital, 250 Beds Reporting to: Head – Administration / Purchase Manager Position SummaryThe Store In -charge will beresponsible for managing the hospital's central store operations, includingprocurement, inventory control, material handling, vendor coordination, anddocumentation. The role ensures uninterrupted availability of quality materialsand consumables to various departments in compliance with hospital policies,cost efficiency, and audit standards.Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Purchasing· Executeall purchasing activities in line with approved policies and procedures.· Source,evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for optimum price, quality, and delivery.· Prepareand process purchase orders, requisitions, and related documents.· Supportdepartments with quotations and price comparisons for tender processes.· Handlevendor claims related to defective, short -supplied, or missing items.2. Inventory & Store Management· Maintainaccurate records of stock receipts, issues, and balances.· Monitorand maintain minimum stock levels for all critical materials.· Ensuretimely replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstocking.· Maintainsegregation of expired, damaged, and condemned materials.· Conductperiodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.3. Coordination &Administration· Coordinatewith user departments to understand material requirements and priorities.· Followup with suppliers for timely deliveries.· Ensureproper documentation, filing, and record -keeping of all store transactions.· Maintainhygiene, orderliness, and safety standards within the store premises.· Generateand submit regular MIS reports on stock, consumption, and procurement.4.Compliance & Audit· Ensureadherence to hospital policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.· Supportinternal and external audit processes with accurate documentation.· Implementstandard operating procedures (SOPs) for store and purchase functions. Requirements Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: B.Com / Graduate or aboveExperience: 8+ years of experience in hospital store or purchase managementPreferred Exposure: Healthcare or pharmaceutical inventory management Skills RequiredExcellent communication and coordination skillsStrong negotiation and vendor management capabilityTime management and planning skillsLeadership and team -handling abilityProficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
