Years of Experience – 20–25 years

Qualifications – Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Profile Summary

Oversee the structural engineering aspects of large-scale mixed-use developments including residential, commercial, and retail verticals. Possessing strong technical and leadership skills, with exposure in delivering complex multi-use real estate projects from design through execution. Managing and closely coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure the structural integrity, efficiency, and viability of landmark developments.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead all activities related to Structural Engineering of assigned projects, including but not limited to:

Technical scrutiny of enquiries and onboarding consultants, peer reviewer, IIT reviewer, etc.

Provide inputs to architects/internal design team on conceptual design.

Agree timelines with consultants for GFC and other deliveries as per design team/management requirements.

Coordinate between architect, structural consultant, peer reviewer and IIT reviewer to get design and drawings approved for construction.

Ensure drawings are issued to Projects team on time as per DLF protocol.

Develop Project Brief, DBR, Scope Document, etc., ensuring all DLF requirements are met by all consultants.

Provide time-to-time inputs to QS team to ensure project budget is prepared and updated at various stages.

Arrange coordination and peer review meetings as necessary.

Liaise with consultants to ensure smooth delivery of design and drawings.

Highlight major technical challenges that impact delivery and construction to management and develop mitigation plans.

Obtain necessary approvals and directions from management for execution of design.

Identify scope of improvements for design processes, alternate structural systems, construction methods, etc., to improve overall project delivery.

Mentor and develop team ensuring uniformity across various projects.

Provide technical inputs to PMC/Contractors.

Optimization and value engineering.
