About the role:

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated
Staff System Test Engineer
 to design and develop various System test activities with strong leadership and technical expertise coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Staff System Test Engineer, you will join a team focused on Systems Integration and Testing of all Enphase product offerings from all the business units within Enphase Energy. You will participate and lead data analysis of all Beta Programs worldwide, understand the problems and come up with list of use cases those can be executed in the system test lab.

Develop test plans and test strategies, draw test bed schematics and setup complete end to end systems that involve Gateways, EV Chargers, AC Batteries, Micro inverters, Controller switches, Load controls and Cloud and Mobile Apps for various countries. You will also interact with offshore teams, perform end to end system test and publish results to key stakeholders while acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the assigned projects. Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

What you will do :

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Enphase products, ensuring end-to-end requirements mapping.
• Actively participate in engineering forums, review technical documents, product and design specifications, and provide feedback from a system test perspective.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple Enphase systems.
• Design and develop test bed schematics and set up systems in the lab for end-to-end system test activities.
• Execute tests, log bugs in Jira, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed analysis.
• Lead bug triage discussions, provide impact analysis, and ensure consensus from stakeholders to fix issues before product release.
• Lead and mentor a team of system test engineers, providing technical leadership.

Who you are and what you bring:

• Master's/bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering with 8+ years of system validation experience.
• Passionate about making a positive impact on the world.
• Experience working with international product development  teams.
• Strong teamwork skills and high self-motivation.
• System test experience in product companies with technologies such as Electrical, PLC, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Automotive, IoT, Solar, EVSE, Battery Storage Systems, and Home Automation.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, power analyzers) and setting up complex systems for validation.
• Experience working with field application engineers and translating field issues into system test use cases.
• Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and test management tools like TestRail and DOORs.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience working across various functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
