						Role & responsibilities
1.Process Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the LRF refining process to ensure the desired steel quality and production efficiency.
- Adjust parameters such as temperature, oxygen flow, and chemical composition to achieve target specifications.
- Analyze process data and implement adjustments to improve yield, reduce defects, and minimize energy consumption.
2.Quality Control:
- Ensure that the molten steel meets the required specifications for carbon content, temperature, and chemical composition.
- Perform routine analysis of steel samples and coordinate with the quality control team to ensure consistency.
3.Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
- Investigate any process-related issues or deviations, such as slag formation, temperature fluctuations, or poor steel quality, and develop corrective actions.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve equipment or process malfunctions.
4.Process Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of LRF operation parameters, process improvements, and results of experiments or trials.
- Prepare and present reports for management, focusing on performance metrics, efficiency improvements, and process compliance.
5.Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to safety standards and ensure a safe working environment in the LRF area.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and work to minimize the environmental impact of the LRF operations.
Preferred candidate profile
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager LRF & VD with extensive experience in Alloy Steel production. The role involves managing Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) and Vacuum Degassing (VD) operations, ensuring metallurgical quality and production efficiency in a dynamic steel manufacturing environment.
