Job Description:

Project Role : Application Developer  Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.  Must have Skills : Apache Spark  Good to Have Skills :  Hadoop,  Job Requirements :    Key Responsibilities :   A: Create scala/spark jobs for data transformation and aggregation B: Write Scala doc style documentation with all code C: Design data processing pipelines D: Requirement gathering and understanding, Analyse and convert functional requirements into concrete technical tasks and able to provide reasonable effort estimates E: Work proactively, independently and with global teams to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks    Technical Experience :   A: Experience working with HDFS, S3, Cassandra B: Understanding of database theories, structures, categories and best practices C: Experience with Java essential Python, and R highly desired D: Experience with Apache Spark streaming and batch framework E: Experience with Kafka, Storm, Zookeeper    Professional Attributes :   A: Analytical mind B: Strong communication and presentation skills C: Leadership skills D: Strong communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stake holders E: Demonstrate ownership and initiative taking    Educational Qualification :   A: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent work experience    Additional Information :   A: Analytical mind B: Strong communication and presentation skills C: Leadership skills D: Strong communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stake holders E: Demonstrate ownership and initiative taking
