Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and persuasive Admission Counselor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students, guiding them through the admissions process while representing the school's ethos with integrity and warmth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counseling & Outreach:
  • Act as the first point of contact for admission inquiries (calls, walk-ins, emails).
  • Counsel prospective parents on the school's academic programs, philosophy, and culture.
  • Schedule and conduct campus tours and orientation sessions for parents.
  • Follow up with leads and maintain strong parent relationships.
  • Admissions Process:
  • Guide parents through the application, assessment, and enrollment process.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and admissions data.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (academic, admin, finance) to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Marketing & Events:
  • Assist in organizing and participating in open houses, admission drives, and school promotional events.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on promotional strategies, digital campaigns, and parent engagement activities.
  • Reporting:
  • Maintain and regularly update the admission database (CRM or Excel).
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on inquiries, conversions, and feedback.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (fluency in English required).
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building ability.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Education, Marketing, Psychology, or Business).
  • 2– years of experience in school admissions, counseling, or customer service roles (experience in a reputed school is an advantage).

Working Days & Timings

  • Monday to Saturday (with rotational Saturdays off)
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary slightly during peak admission season)
