Sap Project Manager

We are seeking a results-driven SAP Project Manager to lead and manage SAP implementation and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP modules, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Note: The selected candidate would be working on a 3rd party payroll for the project with Panasonic.

Role & responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

  • Manage project budgets and timelines.

  • Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and user requirements.

  • Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Resolve project-related issues promptly.

  • SAP Implementation

  • Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions.

  • Ensure SAP systems are optimized for business processes.

  • Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide support and troubleshooting post go-live.

  • Ensure documentation and training for end-users.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP, PMI, or SAP certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience managing SAP projects (ECC, S/4HANA, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
