Sales and client management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for banquets and events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide tours of banquet facilities.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and event details.
  • Follow up with clients to address concerns and secure commitments.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments, including the kitchen, food and beverage, and operations, to ensure the seamless execution of events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as room setup, menus, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Meet and greet clients upon arrival to review arrangements and introduce them to staff.
  • Oversee event execution to ensure client specifications are met and guest satisfaction is high.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to ensure a positive experience and encourage repeat bookings.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Maintain client information and sales correspondence databases.
  • Process reservations and manage event bookings in the reservation system.
  • Complete and maintain departmental reports and records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively sell against them.
