Job Description

To perform detailed structural analysis and design for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The role involves preparing engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for reinforced concrete, steel, or hybrid structures. The Design Engineer works in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that structural designs are technically accurate, coordinated, and feasible for construction.

  • Conduct structural analysis and design of RCC, steel, or composite structural elements using standard engineering practices and design codes.

  • Prepare and review structural design calculations, modeling reports, and construction drawings including plans, sections, and details.

  • Perform member sizing, load checks, serviceability assessments, and deflection controls for gravity and lateral load conditions.

  • Use structural software tools to simulate and analyze design performance and ensure safety and efficiency of systems.

  • Coordinate with architecture, MEP, and geotechnical teams to incorporate structural requirements into integrated project layouts.

  • Provide technical support during construction phases, including resolving RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and suggesting design modifications if required.

  • Experience in structural analysis, RCC and/or steel detailing, drawing preparation, coordination, and working with multidisciplinary teams

Technical Skills

Structural Analysis Software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD), RCC and Steel Design Calculations, Understanding of Indian and International Codes (IS, ACI, BS, Eurocode), Detailing and Drafting Coordination, Load Analysis, Foundation Design, and Structural Modeling
