We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4 - 5 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TypeScript, Cypress, Selenium, and API & UI automation with a solid background in microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.

You will play a key role in ensuring quality across SaaS applications, e-commerce platforms, and CRM domains, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-performing software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing using TypeScript, Cypress, and Selenium.
  • Build and execute automated test suites to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across microservices, integrations, and SaaS applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to define testing strategies and quality standards.
  • Perform end-to-end application testing, including API, middleware, and enterprise integrations (iPaaS).
  • Debug, analyze, and resolve issues in automated test runs and production systems.
  • Document test results, maintain testing dashboards, and provide clear reporting on software quality.
  • Stay updated with emerging QA tools, frameworks, and best practices to drive automation excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 45 years of experience in QA automation and framework development.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for API & UI automation.
  • Experience with Cypress and Selenium.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with SaaS applications and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency Levels

Must-Have:

  • Hands-on experience in REST API automation.
  • E-commerce domain expertise.
  • Exposure to SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of microservices-based systems.
  • End-to-end application integration (iPaaS, middleware, enterprise integrations).

Nice-to-Have:

  • UI Automation hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Snowflake.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience in system integration and performance testing.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven test automation techniques.
