DST- Investigation of Transition Metal Sulfides (TMSs)/MXenes Composites as Anode Materials for High-Efficiency Lithium-Ion Batteries (LiBs)

Position

Assistant Professor (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities


• Teach Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Chemistry.


• Conduct advanced research relevant to the DST project on TMSs/MXenes composites and Li-ion battery anode materials.


• Perform synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical analysis of chemical materials.


• Maintain chemistry laboratory instruments and ensure proper documentation of experiments.


• Contribute to project-based work, including data interpretation, report writing, and publication support.


• Guide students, research scholars, and project staff in laboratory practices and research activities.


• Participate in departmental activities, academic planning, and curriculum development.

Qualifications


• Ph.D. in Chemistry (Mandatory)


• NET/JRF qualified (preferred as per UGC norms)


• Specialization or research in materials chemistry, electrochemistry, nanomaterials, or energy storage (preferred)

Preferred Skills


• Experience with analytical instruments such as XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, UV-Vis, FTIR, Electrochemical Workstation, etc.


• Strong research orientation with proven scientific writing and publication skills.


• Ability to independently conduct laboratory sessions and research experiments.


• Good communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities.
