Job Description

Macro Vision School is a reputed CBSE-affiliated institution committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. We are inviting applications for the position of TGT English Teacher for classes VI to X.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, improving students' language skills, and fostering a love for literature and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English Language and Literature to classes VI–X as per CBSE curriculum
  • Plan and deliver well-structured, interactive, and student-centered lessons
  • Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and assignments
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
  • Participate in school activities, examinations, and parent-teacher meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic improvement
  • Use basic educational technology and digital tools for effective teaching

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in English (BA English)
  • B.Ed. is mandatory
  • Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred
