Site Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Electrical Site Supervisor
to oversee and manage field operations for rural electrification(RE) RDSS projects and power distribution line installations up to 11kV. The candidate will be
responsible for supervising pole stringing, erection, cable laying, line testing, and the safe use of discharge rods and other essential equipment in line with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate pole stringing, erection, and alignment for overhead distribution lines.
• Monitor and manage the installation and commissioning of 11kV to 33kV distribution lines.
• Oversee rural electrification projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to government standards.
• Conduct safety checks, including the proper use of discharge rods during maintenance and shutdown operations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and laborers on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
• Inspect and verify the quality of materials such as poles, insulators, conductors, and fittings.
• Review project drawings and electrical layouts, ensuring implementation aligns with engineering designs.
• Maintain project documentation, site reports, and update progress reports.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities, utilities, and inspection teams during project execution and handover.

Salary- 20, ,000 (PM)

Requirements:

BEE/ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

1+ years of experience in distribution line projects (preferably up to 11kV).

Hands-on experience with rural electrification, including HT/LT line erection and pole stringing.

Sound knowledge of electrical safety practices, including the correct use of discharge rods.

Familiarity with surveying tools, line routing, and basic load calculations.

Ability to work in rural and remote areas, often under challenging conditions.

Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
