Senior Social Media Manager – Job Description

A Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of a company's social media presence across platforms. This role focuses on strengthening brand positioning, driving audience engagement, and supporting business objectives through data-driven and innovative social media initiatives. The incumbent will also mentor team members and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and impact.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Oversee content planning, including long-term content calendars and campaign roadmaps.
  • Review, approve, and optimize social media posts to ensure quality, consistency, and brand voice.
  • Collaborate closely with Graphic Designers, Content Teams, Marketing, and other stakeholders for integrated campaigns.
  • Build, manage, and grow strong online communities while maintaining brand reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices, and apply them strategically.
  • Plan and manage high-impact social media marketing campaigns, including launches and brand initiatives.
  • Oversee and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, including mentoring junior team members and managing priorities effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in managing and scaling social media platforms at a strategic level
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth understanding of organic and paid social media strategies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹41,045.59 per month
