Job Purpose

To manage and oversee day-to-day accounting, financial operations, compliance, and reporting activities for the garment/apparel business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per statutory norms.
  • Manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliances applicable in the garment/apparel industry.
  • Monitor cost controls, budgeting, and variance analysis specific to apparel manufacturing/trading.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth audits.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost sheet preparation for garments.
  • Maintain vendor and customer reconciliations.
  • Support management with MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis.
  • Work closely with production and merchandising teams to align finance with business operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Experience in garment/apparel industry preferred (costing, inventory, vendor management).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / relevant accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Inter).
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Garments/Apparel industry.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial discipline, and statutory compliances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
