SEO Team Lead Technical

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Team Lead with advanced expertise in Technical SEO, AI-driven search visibility, GEO targeting, Voice SEO, and structured data optimization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical SEO audits, site migrations, Core Web Vitals optimization, and AI/LLM-powered SEO strategies.

This role involves leading a team, executing high-level SEO strategies, and collaborating across departments to ensure search visibility in both traditional and AI-driven SERPs (ChatGPT, Google SGE, Voice Search, etc.).

Important: Candidates must have a Windows laptop/desktop with at least 16GB RAM and reliable internet connection with power backup.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct advanced keyword research, including AI/voice search and semantic clustering.
• Plan and execute GEO-targeted SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies.
• Stay updated on Google algorithm updates, AI/LLM developments, and voice search evolution.
• Lead SEO project planning, task prioritization, and team execution.

Technical SEO & On-Page Optimization

• Perform in-depth technical SEO audits: crawlability, indexing, architecture, Core Web Vitals.
• Optimize website structure, metadata, headings, internal linking, and canonicalization.
• Implement structured data/schema markup (rich snippets, FAQs, product info, etc.).
• Ensure mobile-first optimization & site speed improvements.
• Manage website migrations, redirects, and canonical issues.
• Use tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, Siteimprove, GSC.
• Work with developers on HTML/CSS/JavaScript SEO fixes in CMS (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).

Advanced AI & Voice SEO

• Optimize content for AI-powered search platforms (ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, etc.).
• Implement Voice SEO strategies with conversational keywords & structured Q&A content.
• Collaborate with content teams for AI/voice-optimized content assets.
• Monitor geo-targeted visibility in AI SERPs.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track KPIs: organic traffic, rankings, CTR, conversions, domain authority.
• Maintain dashboards/reports via GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, Tableau.
• Deliver insights and recommendations from audits and performance tracking.
• Present reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

• Develop and execute advanced link-building campaigns (guest posts, PR, outreach).
• Revive and optimize aged/dropped domains for authority.
• Work with outreach/content teams for quality backlinks & anchor optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of SEO experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Hands-on expertise in technical SEO, site audits, and schema markup.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, site speed optimization, mobile-first SEO.
• Experience with GEO SEO, AEO, AI/LLM visibility, and Voice SEO.
• Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, Looker Studio.
• Basic to intermediate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Shopify knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to mentor SEO executives and lead projects end-to-end.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and event tracking.
• Familiarity with local SEO & eCommerce SEO.
• Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or SEO platforms (optional).
• Knowledge of semantic search, clustering, AI-driven keyword research.

Work Details

• Job Type: Full-time, Remote
• Work Schedule: 6 days a week, 8 hours/day (on time tracker via remote PC access provided by us)
• Experience Required: 3+ years (1+ year in Team Lead role preferred)
• Location: Remote (India preferred)
