Medical Care & Health Management

Provide first aid, medical assessments, and emergency response for students and staff.

Monitor and manage students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy, ensuring individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and immunization data.

Prepare and submit regular medical reports and incident summaries to senior leadership.

Support medical planning and risk assessments for school trips, excursions, and large events.

Liaise with external healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals to ensure continuous care when needed.

Leadership & Team Management

Supervise and train the nursing team to uphold high clinical standards.

Manage staff schedules, absences, and coverage effectively.

Foster professionalism, teamwork, and a positive work environment.

Address staff conflicts constructively and respectfully.

Clinic & Infirmary Oversight

Oversee daily operations of the school infirmary, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and preparedness.

Manage clinic inventory, including medicines, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and compliance with safety standards.

Health Promotion & Communication

Promote health education, hygiene, and wellness through school-wide initiatives and workshops.

Communicate sensitively and effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds.

Provide guidance on mental health, nutrition, and preventive healthcare as appropriate.

Safeguarding & Compliance

Complete safeguarding and child protection training as per school policy.

Identify and promptly report safeguarding or welfare concerns.

Ensure all health practices comply with local regulations and school policies.

Proficient in medical assessment and diagnosis.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
