Job Description

We are looking for an experienced API Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful and SOAP-based APIs. The candidate should be well-versed in integration patterns, API security, and scalable architectures, preferably within financial services, e-commerce, or enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy APIs using modern frameworks and best practices.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs with applications.
  • Maintain API documentation using Swagger / Postman / OpenAPI.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2.0, JWT, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Java
  • Experience with API management platforms (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, WSO2, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
  • Strong database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle).
  • Hands-on experience with
    microservices architecture
    and
    cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    .
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile environments.
