We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Provide support for Servco Service Catalogue Service Delivery initiatives by developing and delivering functionalities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Assess the viability of new requests and provide proposals and solutions to the business that meet business requirements, align with IT strategy and maximise reuse opportunities.
- Create and update Technical Documents when required.
- Demonstrate good analytical skills to ensure business problems are questioned and understood and the solutions are cost effective and timely.
- Ensure development is completed as per the customer's requirements and provide consultation/technical support to the development wherever required.
- Be a subject matter expert and would be required to manage multiple small scale, moderately complex development projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve the application / streamline development activities wherever required and promote / drive innovation in technologies, processes and tools.
- Use scripting tools to automate routine tasks being done in the ServiceNow platform.
- Report progress and identify and raise any issues/risks, escalating as appropriate to enable satisfactory resolution.
- Establish and maintain good communication and relationships with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to the development team
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in software development with working on the BCM module within the ServiceNow application.
- Must have good exposure to Agile Scrum practices and methodology
- ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS, CAD)
- Strong Core Java development experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing process based solutions
- Demonstrated experience documenting user case processes and BPM workflows
- Ability to transform Business Requirement into Business Process,End to End experience of ServiceNow -based application design and implementation
- Well versed with class hierarchy, Updateset set hierarchy, data layer, flows, UI Action /policy, deployment, Integration, SOAP Service implementation in ServiceNow , Integration
- Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
