Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Business Compliance / Accounting Executive to handle end-to-end accounting, compliance, and tax reporting activities for our clients. The role involves preparing and finalizing financial statements, managing bookkeeping operations, and ensuring timely filing of tax and statutory returns in compliance with relevant regulations (India/Australia).Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Finalization

  • Prepare and finalize financial statements including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
  • Review and close books of accounts; perform rectifications where necessary.
  • Carry out bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
  • Finalize fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
  • Conduct GL analysis, work paper preparation, and financial review.

2. Compliance & Taxation

  • Prepare tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals.
  • Handle GST/BAS filing, reconciliation, and related analysis.
  • Compute and prepare Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) returns.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.

3. Bookkeeping Operations

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including bank coding, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll modules.
  • Generate periodic management reports as per client requirements.

4. Communication & Reporting

  • Liaise with clients for data collection, clarifications, and report sharing.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet compliance deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CPA (preferred).
  • Experience in Australian Accounting and Tax Compliance is a plus.
