Role Summary
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining bar hygiene, ensuring excellent guest service, and creating a welcoming bar experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, speed, and customer service skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Warmly greet guests and provide menu recommendations.
- Take drink orders accurately and serve beverages promptly.
- Maintain a friendly and professional atmosphere at the bar.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate when required.
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare cocktails, mocktails, and signature drinks as per hotel standards.
- Maintain proper pouring, mixing, and garnishing techniques.
- Ensure consistent taste and presentation of beverages.
Bar Operations
- Set up and close the bar as per SOP.
- Maintain stock of liquor, mixers, glassware, and bar tools.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
- Record all drink sales accurately in POS.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure bar counter, equipment, and glassware are clean.
- Follow FSSAI & hotel hygiene guidelines.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Bartender in a Star hotel or premium restaurant.
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
- Good communication skills.
- Pleasant personality & customer-focused attitude.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and festival days.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
