Job Description :Qube Health is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the startup team and help us build world-class user experiences across all of Qube Health's products. You will be a key contributor to the development of our payments, credit and data platforms, and ensure that it allows us to scale with the team as we introduce new products alongside. As a Senior Backend Developer, you are a team player, comfortable back-end technologies, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
You will collaborate closely with the technical and non-technical teams in order to develop and deploy high quality products and features. Your work will allow customers to achieve their goals with our software and our teams to operate more efficiently as our business grows in both size and scope. At Qube Health, Senior Backend Developers own the components involved throughout the product life cycle, from idea generation, design, prototyping, execution and shipping.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems from architecture to deployment.
- Build scalable and efficient APIs while optimizing database performance.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of backend systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system architecture and development processes.
Must Have :
- Strong proficiency in Java with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and web servers such as Apache or NginX.
- Hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS/GCP.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Good to Have :
- Experience with
Go or other backend technologies.
- Leadership experience in backend development projects.
Experience :
- 3-6 years of experience as a Backend Developer (Java & DevOps).
