SAP FI Consultant

Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to support our financial systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules and a solid understanding of business processes in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, etc.)
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Configure SAP FI settings and perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CO, MM, SD, HR) for integrated solutions.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI-related issues.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in SAP FI implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP FI Certification.
  • Experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Exposure to FICO sub-modules like New GL, Taxation, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS).
  • Knowledge of Indian GST and statutory compliance.
