Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute interior works at the site as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage site labor, materials, and daily work progress.
  • Ensure all site activities are carried out in adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Maintain daily site reports, work schedules, and progress tracking.
  • Handle site measurements and material calculations.
  • Assist in procurement planning and follow-ups with suppliers.
  • Provide technical input and suggest improvements for better efficiency and quality.
  • Resolve on-site technical issues and escalate when necessary.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in interior fit-out/site execution.
  • Good understanding of interior finishes (carpentry, false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior design drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to travel across project sites in and around Chennai.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local vendors, materials, and contractors in Chennai.
  • Fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is a plus).
