Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced database professional with expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Cloud migration, Oracle Goldengate, and AWS. This role is responsible for developing database applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Supporting cloud migrations, designing, implementing, and maintaining data replication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle PL/SQL: Mandatory

Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages

Design and implement database schemas and data models

Create efficient SQL queries and tune existing queries for performance

Implement data validation and integrity checks

Develop automated database maintenance processes

Cloud Migration: Mandatory

Lead database migration projects from on-premises to Cloud preferably on AWS

Configure and manage RDS Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server instances

Implement database security best practices in cloud environments

Optimize database performance in Cloud environments

Create migration plans with minimal downtime strategies

Oracle Goldengate: Good to have

Design, implement and maintain Oracle Goldengate replication solutions for high-availability and disaster recovery

Configure and tune Oracle Goldengate for optimal performance in heterogeneous environments

Implement bi-directional data synchronization with minimal latency

Troubleshoot complex replication issues and data consistency problems

Create and maintain documentation for Goldengate configurations and processe
