Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Python.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and communicate findings with development teams.
  • Execute automated test suites for regression, functional, UI, and API testing.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Continuously enhance test coverage and optimize test execution strategies.
  • Stay updated with new tools and trends in automation testing and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years
    of experience in automation testing in the IT/software industry.
  • Proficient in
    Java
    and
    Python
    for scripting and test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Playwright
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    CI/CD pipelines
    and tools like Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
