SAP BW Consultant (Non-HANA DB):

We are seeking an
SAP BW Consultant

with
3 to 5 years of experience

to join our team. This is a full-time position for a consultant who specializes in
SAP BW on non-HANA databases

. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement
     data models, data flows, and reports in SAP BW.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL)
     data from various source systems into SAP BW.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance
     for existing BW systems, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
  • Develop and debug
     BW-related
    ABAP programs, routines, and user exits
    .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve
     technical issues related to data loads, queries, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with business users
     to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
     to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Provide weekend support and work flexible hours
     when required, including shifts that may extend until 2 AM IST to align with global project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience
     as an SAP BW Consultant.
  • Proven experience working with
    SAP BW on non-HANA database platforms
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    BW data modeling, LSA/LSA++, data extraction, and report development
    .
  • Solid
    ABAP skills
     specific to SAP BW, including knowledge of
    ABAP programs, function modules, and routines
    .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of
    SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) version 10.0
     is highly preferred.
  • Experience with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM).
  • Experience in a global or international project environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to provide
    weekend support
     and work late shifts (up to 2 AM IST) as needed.
  • Availability to join within
    30 days
     of an offer.
