Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems into target environments using approved tools and scripts.
  • Analyze and map data between source and destination systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and define conversion strategies.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and perform validation checks to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Document data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion procedures for reference and audits.
  • Troubleshoot issues encountered during extraction, transformation, and loading phases.
  • Prepare conversion reports, reconciliation summaries, and post-migration validations.
  • Support go-live activities by executing conversion cycles and resolving data-related issues.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in data conversion, migration, or ETL development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts; familiarity with ETL tools preferred.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good documentation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
