Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Machine Learning Engineer (SDE-2)
to join our team and play a key role in developing and deploying innovative ML-driven solutions. As an SDE-2, you will work closely with senior ML engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality ML models, build scalable ML pipelines, and contribute to impactful projects in areas such as RegTech, FinTech, document processing, fraud detection, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, enjoys solving challenging ML problems end-to-end, and is looking to grow towards a senior technical role.

Key Responsibilities :-
1. Machine Learning Development

• Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models for use cases including RegTech, fraud detection, intelligent document processing, and NLP-driven solutions.
• Experiment with advanced algorithms, frameworks, and architectures to solve complex ML problems.
• Ensure models are robust, efficient, and optimized for production-scale performance.

2. ML Operations (MLOps)

• Build and maintain ML pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to implement MLOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, monitoring).
• Ensure smooth and automated integration of ML models into production environments.

3. Data Engineering and Feature Development

• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data (e.g., documents, text, images).
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze data to extract features relevant to model development.
• Address challenges with incomplete, noisy, or imbalanced datasets.

4. Research and Innovation

• Stay current with ML/AI advancements (e.g., LLMs, graph-based learning, generative AI) and evaluate their applicability to our use cases.
• Conduct small-scale prototyping and proof-of-concept development for new ML techniques.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate research into production-ready solutions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, senior ML engineers, and software developers to align ML solutions with business and compliance needs.
• Translate technical results into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Challenges You Will Work On

• Identity Fraud Detection:
  Developing ML solutions for detecting AML violations, document tampering, and biometric-based fraud detection.
• Intelligent Document Processing:
  Automating extraction, classification, and parsing of high-volume, complex documents.
• Motor Insurance & Finance:
  Creating ML systems for fraud prevention, claim automation, and improved operational accuracy.
• Contract Lifecycle Management:
  Leveraging NLP for clause extraction, compliance checks, and contract analytics.
• User Knowledge Graphs:
  Using graph databases and anomaly detection for trust scoring and behavioral insights.

Key Qualifications
Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in machine learning or applied AI, with hands-on experience building and deploying ML models.
• Preferred: Experience in FinTech/RegTech, fraud detection, or intelligent document processing.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or graph-based ML is desirable.
