About the Role

We're hiring a Mobile App Developer with strong experience in Ionic and Angular (or React). You'll work on building, maintaining, and improving cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. You'll be part of a collaborative remote team, participating in planning, development, and regular online meetings to deliver high-quality apps on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Ionic Framework
• Work with Angular (or React) for front-end logic and UI components
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
• Collaborate with team members during planning, testing, and deployment phases
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Debug and optimize applications for maximum performance and usability
• Participate in code reviews and sprint meetings
• Manage your workload effectively and meet project deadlines

Skills & Experience RequiredIonic & Mobile Development

• Strong hands-on experience building apps with Ionic Framework (v5 or newer)
• Solid understanding of Angular (or React) and TypeScript
• Experience deploying apps to App Store and Google Play
• Familiarity with Cordova or Capacitor plugins
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and responsive design
• Ability to integrate native device features (camera, GPS, push notifications, etc.)
• Experience debugging and testing on multiple devices and platforms

General Technical Skills

• Understanding of REST APIs and backend communication
• Familiarity with or Firebase (for back-end integration)
• Experience using Git version control (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Comfortable managing app builds, signing, and releases

Soft Skills & Work Style

• Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
• Clear written and spoken English communication (you'll join remote meetings)
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively
• Proactive in asking questions and seeking guidance when needed

Qualifications RequiredEssential

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ionic Framework
• Proven track record with published apps or a strong portfolio/GitHub
• Good understanding of mobile development lifecycle
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
• Strong command of spoken and written English

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working in start-up or agency environments
• Familiarity with Angular Material, Firebase, or PWA development
• Knowledge of App Store / Play Store submission processes
• Experience with Agile or Scrum workflows
