Role & responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance including Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality & Quality Management System to ensure product integrity, reliability, and compliance to the highest standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives at site, and ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001. Foster a culture of quality and collaboration to support our mission of delivering innovative and dependable solutions to the customer.

Quality Management Systems:

Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all products and processes comply with regulations for Firearms and Explosives requirements as applicable.

Quality Assurance:

Facilitate development of robust quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of product integrity and reliability using advanced Quality techniques and latest available technology.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

Address quality-related issues promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Engage with Quality Stakeholders to maintain long-term relationships with them. Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and overall operational excellence through continuous improvement.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify, assess, and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the product lifecycle for long and extended tenure projects.

People Development

Contribute to the Workforce Planning and Manpower Budgeting of the Maintenance function w.r.t. Skills / Competencies / Organization Structures / JDs / Nos as per the Business Plans

Contribute to the complete Talent Acquisition Process by participating in Selection and Onboarding of the Talent

Responsible for engaging with the employees and motivate them to meet the targets. Ensure training for the newly hired people and maintain high skill levels in the quality function.

Candidate profile

Must: B-Tech / B.E. Mechanical with 18 to 20 years hands-on experience working in multidimensional products & industry

Must have exposure of handling AS9100

Exposure to Precision machining & assembly quality assurance
