Job Description – Sales Associate
Position Overview
A Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers during the purchasing process, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and meeting sales targets. They act as the face of the company, helping customers find products, answering questions, and promoting items or services.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
Demonstrate product features and benefits to encourage purchases.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product details.
Handle sales transactions, including cash, card, or digital payments.
Achieve or exceed individual and store sales targets.
Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent service.
Handle customer complaints or escalate them to the manager when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service.
Confidence in approaching and engaging with customers.
Ability to work in a team and meet targets.
High school diploma (Bachelor's preferred in some industries).
Previous retail or sales experience (preferred but not always required).
Work Environment
Retail stores, showrooms, call centers, or field sales.
Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fast-paced environment requiring energy and a customer-first attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18, ₹28,000.00 per month
