Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Basis Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
  • Manage transport requests and system copies
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform SAP kernel upgrades, patching, and support package implementation
  • Manage user roles and authorizations
  • Coordinate with functional teams for system enhancements

Oracle DBA:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases supporting SAP
  • Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and cloning
  • Monitor database health and optimize performance
  • Manage tablespaces, indexes, and data integrity
  • Implement security policies and manage user access
  • Support database upgrades and migrations

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis and Oracle DBA roles
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager, and HANA (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Oracle 12c/19c, RMAN, Data Guard, and OEM
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
