Sr/Sales Executive – Laminates

The incumbent shall be responsible for delivering Annual /Half Yearly / Quarterly / Monthly Sales Targets of the allocated territorythrough various trade channels such as Retailers, Distributors, Dealers,SubDealers, and Influencers like Builders, Contractors, Architects, InteriorDesigners, etc. 1. Sales Target Achievement: o Meet and exceed sales targets for assignedterritories by driving both retail and channel sales.o Execute a strategic plan to achieve monthly,quarterly, and annual sales goals. 2. Trade Mapping & Management: o Conduct market research to identify new salesopportunities, market trends, and competitor activitieso Develop a detailed understanding of the assignedterritory, including existing and potential customer segmentso Expand the market presence by onboarding newretail and channel partners 3. Relationship Management: o Build and maintain strong relationships withtrade & influencers to maximise sales opportunities. o Conduct regular visits to trade & accounts,address their concerns, and ensure continuous business flowo Develop and manage long -term relationships withclients, offering post -sale support and regular follow -ups 4. Product Promotion & Brand Awareness: o Promote the company's products through variousretail and channel partners, ensuring brand visibility in the marketo Conduct product presentations, demonstrations,and training sessions for retailers and channel partnerso Conduct Shop Meets as per organisationalrequirement with Carpenters & Contractors o Ensureproper product placement and merchandising in retail outlets 5. Business Development: o Identify potential retail outlets anddistributors for expanding the company's distribution network.o Work closely with the marketing team to devisesales strategies, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs for channelpartners.o Leverage business intelligence and CRM tools toforecast demand and identify new business opportunities 6. Order Management & Payments: o Ensure timely order processing, delivery, andpayment collection from retailers and channel partners.o Coordinate with internal teams (logistics,accounts) to manage the supply chain efficiently.o Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timelycollections from clients 7. Sales Reporting: o May be required to prepare daily, weekly, andmonthly sales reports to track progress and ensure alignment with salesobjectives.o Provide insights on market trends, customerpreferences, and competitor activities in his territory.o Use data -driven approaches to improve saleseffectiveness and decision -making 8. Customer Service & Satisfaction: o Address and resolve customer queries,complaints, and feedback within the establishedTAT o Ensurehigh customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and maintainingproduct consistency. Reporting: Typically, to the Branch Sales Manager / Location SalesManager. S/he may also have to directlyor indirectly report to the Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager /National Sales Manager depending on Business requirements or as per theManagement decision. RequirementsCandidate Profile: § Minimumof 2 -3 or more years of relevant experience in Retail & Channel Sales inBuildingMaterial Industry§ Go -getterattitude§ Targetoriented§ Familiaritywith the local/regional market dynamics and customer base would be preferred § Should be self -driven and willing to work hard§ Goodcommunication skills. Should know the local language and preferably Hindi&/or English§ Goodunderstanding of Retail & Channel selling skills§ Goodinterpersonal skills§ Abilityto adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs§ Willingto travel locally regularly and upcountry periodically§ Preferablyshould have a two -wheeler (along with a two -wheeler licence) for local travel§ Shouldown a Smartphone & be reasonably tech -savvy Key Skills & Competencies: 1. Sales Skills: o Excellent sales and negotiation skills with aproven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.o Strong understanding of the building materialindustry, products, and market dynamics. 2. Communication Skills: o Good verbal and preferably written communicationskills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientso Ability to explain complex products and conceptsin an easy -to -understand manner o Should be confident in the local language of the trade &also know either Hindi &/or English 3. Analytical & Problem -Solving Skills: o Ability to analyse basic sales data and markettrendso Proactive in resolving issues and identifyingopportunities for improvement 4. Relationship Management: o Strong interpersonal skills for managingrelationships with the entire trade 5. Product Knowledge: o Moderate knowledge of building materials,particularly laminates, is preferred o Ability to stay updated with industry trends,innovations, and competitive products 6. Tech Knowledge: o Preferably proficient in SFA & CRM softwareand Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for sales tracking andreporting.
