Role and Responsibilities: As a Sr. Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining accounts on Tally.ERP9 and ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Handling stock and inventory management, including reconciling bank accounts, intercompany, and branch accounts.
  • Managing store/stock inventory and accounting for sale and purchase bills.
  • Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports summarizing the current financial status.
  • Performing accounting entries for sales, purchases, and journals.
  • Preparing and filing GST and GST returns.
  • Providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
  • Analyzing accounting options and recommending financial actions.
  • Preparing salary sheets and ensuring timely disbursement.
  • Ensuring TDS compliance and finalizing returns.
  • Assisting in internal and statutory audits.
  • Preparing EPF challans.
  • Generating special financial reports by analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.
Candidate Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in using Tally.ERP9 for maintaining accounts.
Required Skills: The following skills are required for this position:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
