Job Description:

Experienced Manufacturing Engineering Civil Manager to lead and manage all civil engineering aspects related to manufacturing facilities within the automobile sector. The role involves planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining civil infrastructure to support efficient production operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, construction, and maintenance of manufacturing plant infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, roads, and related civil works.
  • Oversee civil engineering projects from conceptualization through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, safety, and procurement to align civil engineering activities with manufacturing goals.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for civil structures and coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
  • Manage and optimize civil engineering budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in facility design and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in civil engineering within the manufacturing or automobile industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management, structural design, and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws applicable to manufacturing plants.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.
