Curotherm Techno Solutions LLP is planning to strengthen its design group further, and hence is seeking to hire a Senior firmware engineer who can design and develop the needed firmware for the given product.

Gender - Female or Male

Education - BE/BTech (EXTC) or any suitable post graduation in Embedded Systems

Experience - 4 to 7 years

Role & responsibilities

Candidate need to carry out following role/responsibilities

  • design the firmware logic which will meet the product requirements in terms of its needed specifications, compliances and safeties
  • develop the working code using embedded-C and needed IDE (Keil, STM32Cube etc.)
  • develop code for product application, interrupt handlers, protocols (I2C, RS485, Bluetooth), and various interfaces like LCD, Keypad, Sensors, Memory chips, Motors, IOT
  • develop test cases, test the code, and fix the issues (if any)
  • generate reusable code, libraries and estimation norms
  • maintain firmware versions and its release records
  • implement and follow version control system (Git or SVN)
  • learn the developed code and carry out needed changes in it (if needed)
  • learn needed skills and maintain development environment up to date
  • understand the hardware / circuit and use it in firmware development
  • do needed documentation related to product and project
  • participate in doing product validation and its certification(s)
  • lead junior engineer(s), do task planning, and tracking
  • report work status to reporting person and management
  • learn and follow project methodology (V-Model)
  • be a good team player, positive in nature and supportive

Preferred candidate profile

  • Candidate should have passion for developing the firmware and have ownership sense
  • Candidate having experience of developing firmware for medical electronics
  • Candidate with 5+ years of firmware design, development experience
  • Candidate staying in around Navi Mumbai or Thane
