  • Conduct purity testing of gold and silver using fire assay method and XRF technology.
  • Verify, analyze, and certify test results in compliance with IS 1417:2016 and other BIS standards.
  • Supervise Assay Technicians, Chemists, and support staff to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tests.
  • Ensure HUID generation and hallmarking activities are carried out as per BIS norms.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, and reporting of assay results for BIS audits.
  • Ensure calibration, maintenance, and proper usage of laboratory instruments.
  • Monitor quality control, safety protocols, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with hallmarking, laser marking, and customer service teams for smooth workflow.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to new team members.
