Job Title: Functional Analyst / Tester (Individual Contributor)

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Mode: Hybrid (23 weeks from office as per project needs)

Shift Timing: 07:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST (Flexible for early/normal shift, no night shifts)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst / Tester to support the rollout of a global Purchase Order application. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Business Analysis within the SCM domain, along with hands-on expertise in manual testing, SQL, and functional documentation

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into detailed artifacts (PPTs, Word, Excel) for Product, QA, and Development teams.
  • Draft and maintain Functional Specification Documents, User Stories, Test Plans, and Test Cases.
  • Design and execute thorough manual test cases covering complex workflows.
  • Prepare test data and conduct validations using Oracle SQL queries at the database level.
  • Ensure alignment between business functionality and technical implementation through close collaboration with Developers and QA.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide timely updates on progress, blockers, and test coverage.
  • Publish detailed testing reports and defect metrics for stakeholder review.
  • Use tools like JIRA, ALM, Remedy for test case management and defect tracking.
