"TeluguTalks with LK" is a growing YouTube podcast featuring founders, entrepreneurs and business-builders who share their journeys. We're hiring a hybrid content and growth professional who researches, scripts and localizes episodes in Telugu & English, and drives brand promotion and audience growth across YouTube and social channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves storytelling, understands founder journeys, and can convert great conversations into engaged audiences and brand opportunities.

Core Job Role

• End-to-end episode content creation: research → script/storyboard → show notes (Telugu + English).
• Translate/localize tone and messaging between Telugu and English while keeping cultural nuance.
• Design episode promotion plans and run brand growth campaigns (organic + paid) to increase views, subscribers, and engagement.
• Build long-term brand presence for "TeluguTalks with LK" — partnerships, creator collabs, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

Research & Script

• Deep-dive research on guests, industries, startups, products and market contexts ahead of each episode.
• Create structured episode outlines, Teaser scripts, Pre-interview question lists, and final episode scripts in both Telugu and English.
• Write YouTube descriptions, timestamps, LinkedIn post copy, Instagram carousel captions, and short-form scripts (shorts/Reels/TikToks) bilingual.
• Prepare concise one-page guest briefs for the host (key facts, hooks, anecdotes, sensitive topics).
• Ensure factual accuracy, check names/titles/metrics and add credible context & storytelling beats.
• Work with host & editors to revise scripts and adapt on-the-fly during recordings.

Brand Promotion & Marketing

• Develop go-to-market promotional calendar for each episode: shorts, clips, quotes, audiograms, reels, and community posts.
• Create and execute paid + organic campaigns to drive new subscribers and targeted views. Monitor CAC, CPM, CPL where relevant.
• Manage channel brand assets: thumbnails guidance, episode banners, copy templates, CTAs.
• Identify and pitch cross-promotion partnerships (podcasts, newsletters, creators, business communities).
• Grow community engagement — comments, replies, Telegram/WhatsApp/Discord community management strategies.
• Track performance metrics, run A/B tests (titles/thumbnails/shorts formats), and present learnings weekly

Required skills & experience

• 2+ years in content research, scriptwriting, or journalism OR 3+ years in performance marketing/brand growth with strong content skills. (Combination applicants welcome.)
• Native/near-native proficiency in Telugu and English — able to write polished scripts and marketing copy in both.
• Strong storytelling instincts: structure, hook, conflict, payoff.
• Hands-on experience creating social video promotion packages (shorts, reels, audiograms).
• Familiarity with YouTube ecosystem: metadata, thumbnails, tags, watch time optimization, shorts strategy.
• Experience running paid campaigns on YouTube, Meta or X preferred.
• Good research skills: find data, verify facts, synthesize info into concise briefs.
• Comfortable with analytics: YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and basic Excel/Sheets reporting.
• Proactive, deadline-driven, collaborative — able to work with host, editors, and designers.
