Mobile Application Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Apps Engineering to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with a deep understanding of mobile

technologies, proven experience in managing high-performing teams, and the ability to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. You will be responsible for both strategy and execution driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and managing a

skilled team of mobile engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end development of native mobile applications (iOS and Android) from concept to deployment.
• Architect scalable, modular, and maintainable codebases using modern patterns:

iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swift Package Manager

Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVI Architecture

• Design and maintain reusable UI component libraries and shared frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Integrate GraphQL and RESTful APIs, ensuring optimal caching, security, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, security best practices, and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and development practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Managerial & Strategic Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of iOS and Android developers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Conduct performance reviews, career development plans, and resource allocation for optimal productivity.
• Define strategic roadmaps for mobile initiatives in alignment with company goals.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration across engineering, QA, design, and product teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and training to build and scale world-class mobile development capabilities.
• Implement governance, compliance, and security standards for mobile development.
• Prepare and present developer productivity, quality metrics, and project status reports to leadership.

Required Technical Expertise

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in both Android and iOS development.
• Minimum 5+ years of mobile development experience using:
• Swift, SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager, MVVM (iOS)
• Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVI (Android)
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining scalable component/UI libraries.
• Advanced experience with GraphQL integration (schema design, client-side caching strategies).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Firebase, and backend service architectures.
• Strong command over CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing frameworks, analytics tools, and performance profiling techniques.
• Expertise in A/B testing, feature flag management, remote configuration, and observability tools.
• Proven track record in publishing and maintaining mobile applications on the App Store and Google Play.
• Knowledge of mobile app security, privacy frameworks, and compliance guidelines.

Experience & Education

• Total Experience: 15+ years in software engineering.
• Mobile Development: 5+ years of recent hands-on experience in native iOS and Android.
• Managerial: Minimum 3+ years leading mobile engineering teams.
• Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
