Job Title : Jr. Engineer

Department : Mechanical Design

Education Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

Experience in years : 1-3

Designation : Jr. Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Support senior engineers in creating 2D and 3D design drawings using CAD software

(e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge).

· Assist in the preparation of technical drawings that adhere to company standards and engineering best practices.

· Assist in the preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for designs, ensuring that all required materials and

Components are listed and accounted for.

· Help maintain accurate records of design documentation, including CAD files, specifications, and design revisions.

· Ensure all documentation is updated, organized, and easily accessible for future reference or team collaboration.

· Work closely with the manufacturing, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure designs can be produced

Effectively and meet all performance requirements.

· Assist in identifying and addressing any design issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

· Update or make revisions to existing design drawings as needed, based on feedback, changes in specifications,

Or new product requirements.

· Learn and apply engineering standards and guidelines to ensure all designs are compliant with safety regulations,

Industry standards and best practices.

Skills Required

· Experience in the design and analysis of EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes is a plus.

· Understanding of mechanical and structural engineering principles.

· Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD) for creating 2D and 3D

Models and technical drawings, along with product data management software such as Team center.

· Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., IS, ISO, FEM, DIN, CMAA, and ASME).

· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
