Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Internal Accountant
to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in
TDS, GST, Income Tax, PAYE
, and all core accounting functions. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting using accounting software (e.g., Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho Books).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
  • Maintain general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and cash-flow tracking.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Calculate, deduct, and file
    TDS
    on all applicable transactions.
  • Prepare and file
    GST returns
    (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, etc.).
  • Assist in
    Income Tax
    compliance, advance tax calculations, and coordinating with auditors.
  • Manage
    PAYE / payroll taxes
    and ensure accurate monthly salary processing.
  • Keep track of statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and statutory bodies when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and local regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in
    TDS, GST, Income Tax, and PAYE
    .
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications like CA Inter, CMA Inter, or similar are a plus.
  • Experience in a similar internal accounts role.
