Job Title:
OpenShift Engineer


Location:
Nairobi (Kenya)

We're looking for an experienced
Infrastructure Engineer
skilled in
OpenShift/Kubernetes, storage management, and server infrastructure
. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure environments ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage
    storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
    – allocation, monitoring & troubleshooting.
  • Handle
    server infrastructure & virtualization
    (VMware, Hyper-V, bare metal).
  • Configure & manage
    SAN switches
    (Brocade, Cisco MDS).
  • Design, deploy & maintain
    OpenShift/Kubernetes
    clusters.
  • Develop
    automation scripts
    (Python, Bash) for infrastructure tasks.
  • Monitor performance & optimize infrastructure efficiency.
  • Ensure
    security best practices
    and maintain documentation

Required Skills:

Strong in
Storage Technologies
(SAN/NAS)

Hands-on with
OpenShift / Kubernetes

Experience in
Server & Bare Metal Management

Knowledge of
SAN Switches (Brocade/Cisco MDS)

Scripting in
Python / Bash

Good with
Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Familiar with
Linux OS

Preferred:

  • Experience with
    Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE
  • Exposure to
    AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Certifications:
    RHCE, VCP, MCSE
