About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend development using Laravel framework, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.

  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.

  • Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), queries, and migrations.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.

  • Ensure security and data protection best practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP ecosystem trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8) and Laravel framework.

  • Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL and database design.

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization.

  • Familiarity with Composer, Artisan CLI, and Laravel packages.

  • Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

  • Proficient with version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks , React, or Angular).

  • Knowledge of queue management, caching, and task scheduling in Laravel.

  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools (PHPUnit, Pest).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) and server management.

  • Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, etc.).
