Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and creatively driven Outreach & Communications Associate to lead the firm's outreach initiatives. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to independently conceptualise, create, and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the firm's design philosophy. This is a one-man army role, ideal for someone looking to take full ownership of a vertical and shape it from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage content strategy across all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest).
  • Produce high-quality content (photo, video, written) including project features, behind-the-scenes reels, design stories, etc.
  • Regularly update all platforms at pre-defined intervals.

Video Production & Filmmaking

  • Independently ideate, script, shoot, and edit films that showcase FD Design's work and values.
  • Engage freelance professionals for support when needed but retain creative ownership.

Photography & Visual Storytelling

  • Capture architectural and interior project narratives through compelling photography.
  • View and interpret design work through the lens of a camera.

Journalism & Writing

  • Conduct interviews with clients, team members, and collaborators.
  • Write articles and features for online and offline platforms that communicate FD Design's unique design approach and culture.

Newsletters & Client Communication

  • Draft and circulate weekly/monthly newsletters in the form of videos, bulletins, or digital magazines.
  • Ensure old and new clients are regularly updated about FD Design's latest work, achievements, and initiatives.
  • Use these touch points to drive traffic to social platforms.

Podcast Development

  • Conceptualise and manage the production of an in-house podcast series.
  • Set up studio, develop content calendar, manage technical and creative aspects.
  • Coordinate episodes featuring directors and team members.

Site Visits & Documentation

  • Independently visit project sites to document progress, gather stories, conduct interviews, and generate content.

Candidate Profile

  • Male candidate preferred due to extensive field travel and mobility needs.
  • Must have a graduate/postgraduate degree in Mass Communication.
  • Must reside within a 10-15 km radius of Naraina Vihar, New Delhi.
  • Must own personal transport and be comfortable commuting independently (travel expenses will be reimbursed).
  • Demonstrated passion for photography, filmmaking, and journalism.
  • Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, Photoshop, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
