Role & responsibilities

  • Support site visits and surveys to gather measurements and installation data.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical details, equipment dimensions, and utility requirements.

  • Participate in design review meetings and update drawings based on feedback from clients or internal teams.

  • Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and fabrication documentation.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes (like 3-A Sanitary Standards, ISO, ASME BPE) and internal QMS.
  • Use revision control and maintain drawing records in PDM/PLM systems

Preferred candidate profile

  • Dip / Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar.
  • Develop 2D and 3D plant layout drawings for milk processing plants, chilling centers, and dairy product facilities (e.g., cheese, yogurt, ghee, butter).
  • Create detailed mechanical fabrication drawings for tanks, pasteurizers, homogenizers, evaporators, and spray dryers.
  • Design piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and isometric piping layouts for CIP systems, utility lines (steam, chilled water, compressed air), and product pipelines.
