Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Software Engineer
with strong experience in
Core PHP
,
Laravel framework
, and
server-side infrastructure
. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in
project management
,
team leadership
, and the ability to drive technical projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of scalable web applications using
    PHP
    (Core PHP) and
    Laravel
    .
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and stakeholders.
  • Set timelines, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage server environments, particularly
    Ubuntu
    and
    Apache
    , for application hosting.
  • Execute server-side tasks using
    Linux commands
    and perform routine server maintenance.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on
    AWS
    (including
    EC2
    ,
    NoSQL databases
    , and
    SQS queues
    ).
  • Implement and maintain
    version control
    using
    Git
    and enforce code management best practices.
  • Lead the
    troubleshooting
    process to resolve bugs and production issues.
  • Review code for quality assurance and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in
    PHP development
    , including
    Core PHP
    and
    Laravel
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Linux-based systems
    , especially
    Ubuntu
    and
    Apache web server
    configuration.
  • Proficient in
    Linux command-line
    tools for system management and deployment tasks.
  • Experience with
    Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    , especially
    EC2
    ,
    NoSQL databases
    (like DynamoDB or MongoDB), and
    SQS
    .
  • Solid grasp of
    version control
    systems, particularly
    Git
    , GitHub/GitLab workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability in
    troubleshooting
    , debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Proven track record of
    project management
    and
    team leadership
    in a software development environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in AWS or Project Management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
