Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Internal Audit team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, audit procedures, and statutory compliance requirements. This role involves evaluating internal controls, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits of various departments and business processes as per the audit plan.
  • Perform financial closure reviews and assist in finalization of accounts.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial reports.
  • Review and ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assess internal control systems and recommend process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and corrective action plans.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to follow up on audit observations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in statutory and internal audits, including coordination with external auditors.
  • Support management in developing and implementing robust risk management practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and operational data at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Good understanding of TDS, GST, and other regulatory compliances.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exposure to audit tools or ERP systems (SAP/Tally) will be an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualification: CA Inter / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent/ CA Drop-out candidates preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, statutory audit, or accounting.
  • Experience in professional services or consulting firms will be preferred.
