Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RingCentral Contractor to design, develop, and support secure healthcare communication solutions using RingCentral Fax, Voice, and Text APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-based communication platforms, experience in healthcare or telehealth environments, and a solid understanding of HIPAA-compliant messaging and voice workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RingCentral API-based solutions including:

  • Fax APIs for secure document transmission

  • Voice APIs for inbound/outbound calling, IVR, and call routing

  • Text (SMS/MMS) APIs for patient and provider communications

  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable communication workflows for healthcare use cases.

  • Integrate RingCentral services with EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, and internal healthcare applications.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and secure handling of PHI.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and reporting for voice, fax, and messaging activity.
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and compliance teams to align solutions with healthcare workflows.
  • Troubleshoot API issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with RingCentral APIs, specifically:

  • Fax API

  • Voice API

  • SMS/Text API

  • Strong experience in healthcare or telehealth systems.

  • Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare communication security standards.
  • Proficiency in backend development , Java, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication (OAuth).
  • Strong troubleshooting and integration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RingCentral MVP or Contact Center solutions.
  • Familiarity with HL7 / FHIR healthcare integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of audit logging, compliance reporting, and data retention policies.
